Esmé Hicks

Esmé Hicks is an award winning writer/director. Her first short film, The Old Woman and the Sea, screened at festivals including Barnes Film Festival (Best Narrative Film), Thunderdance Film Festival (Runner-up for Best Narrative and Best Director) and Women Over Fifty Film Festivals as well as part of Booth's Salon at the Playback Festival at the ICA. She has also directed comedy sketches and music videos.

Esmé also works as a producer and editor.  She is the Co-Producer of All My Friends Hate Me which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 2021.
